Citycon is looking for a Finance Trainee to join our Finland and Estonia Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an international real estate company where you will be involved in a wide range of financial and operative reporting matters.
A key part of the role is the opportunity to gradually grow into a financially savvy business partner, gaining hands-on insight into how commercial and operational decisions translate into financial performance. This role offers a meaningful development path for early‑career talent, who is genuinely curious about how Citycon business works and eager to build a strong foundation in financial management, operative reporting and analysis supporting the company management.
The position is planned to be permanent but starting as part‑time: planned workload will be approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust working hours based on team needs and in alignment with ongoing studies. We expect suitable candidates for the job be quite far in their studies, e.g. to have completed bachelor’s studies. Ideally, you would have some relevant work experience from e.g. summer jobs.

Location: On-site at Citycon’s HQ in Iso Omena, Espoo
As Finance Trainee, you will
· Support controllers and property analyst in the finance team by assisting with a wide range of tasks and ensuring smooth daily operations and reporting each month.
· Work hands-on with financial data, including analysing and interpreting datasets, contributing monthly reporting, and performing various financial analyses that support decision-making.
· Grow your expertise step by step: As your skills develop, the responsibilities will grow with you, offering an inspiring development path for you to take the next step toward more senior financial roles.
What are we looking for
· Bachelor’s degree in business preferably with a major in finance, business analytics or real estate economics or another relevant field.
· Strong interest in business analytics, operational performance metrics and the commercial real estate industry.
· Good skills with data and Excel-models, data visualization and expertise with PowerBI or similar is considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
· High motivation and the drive to grow into a skilled professional in the field.
· Ability to work proactively, in a structured manner, and collaboratively in a dynamic and changing environment.
· Fluency in Finnish and English
