Treasury Controller
Citycon is seeking an ambitious Treasury Controller to support group treasury reporting, controls, and analysis, contributing to reliable financial information and smooth decision-making.

Citycon is looking for an ambitious and driven Treasury Controller to join our Group Finance team on a fixed-term basis to cover parental leave. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an international real estate company and to work closely with a wide range of treasury matters in a dynamic group environment.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate reporting and analysis of treasury-related items, supporting informed and efficient decision-making at group level. You will also be involved in SOX controls, working in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for a proactive professional who takes ownership of responsibilities and enjoys working in a structured and organized manner.

Employment Period: Starting flexibly in August or September 2026 for a one-year fixed-term position
Location: On-site at Citycon’s HQ in Iso Omena, Espoo
As a Treasury Controller, you will be responsible for
• Group-level treasury controlling, reporting, and analytics.
• Developing and maintaining treasury reporting, reconciliations, and hedge accounting.
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS requirements related to financial instruments and maintaining SOX controls within treasury.
• Analyzing P&L and balance sheet impacts of financial instruments and IFRS changes.
• Supporting subsidiaries in treasury reporting matters.
• Contributing to budgeting and forecasting of net financial expenses and preparing treasury-related materials for board presentations.
• Developing and improving treasury systems and processes, and monitoring compliance with debt covenants.
What are we looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or another relevant field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate treasury, banking, or treasury advisory roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Solid knowledge of corporate treasury functions and financial instruments.
• Familiarity with IFRS standards related to financial instruments.
• Experience with financial risk management, funding arrangements, debt transactions, and cash management processes.
• SOX compliance experience considered an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Finnish; proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.
